School Clubs
At Roe Lee School we have a range of activities on after school and during the school day for pupils to take part in throughout the year. Children have enjoyed taking part in football club, dance club, ‘Let’s Get Cooking’ and many more.
Letters about clubs will be sent out usually towards the beginning of the term. The teacher in charge will be able to tell you if there are any places available and how you can join. Many of our clubs are over-subscribed so we operate on a ‘first come, first served’ basis so please return your consent forms promptly.
If your child takes part in an after school club we ask parents to carefully note the finishing times so that they can be collected promptly at the end of the session. Parents must also sign a consent form (available from the teacher in charge) before their child can take part in any of our clubs.
Warhammer Club
Starting this year for children in Year 3 & 4 is Warhammer Club with Mr Greaves. At this club the children will develop fine motor skills, maths, painting, creative writing and problem solving through the world of Warhammer.
They will assemble miniatures, paint them and use them to play games with each other.
If it goes well, the club may even take part in a national competition later in the year!
